'The Mook' is a really charming and lovely beachside cottage.

Clean, well-maintained, and well-supplied for a family holiday the house's location is fantastic, with a stunning outlook across the garden towards Mollymook beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Great location and super cute house

We booked the Mook for my husbands 50th birthday celebration holiday, the idea was that we would have the luxury of a house on the beach, as we live in a small apartment. The house 'appears' exactly as it is described on the website, and you can't beet the location, absolutely picture perfect. There are great shops just up the road with a small but very adequate super market, a good chemist/newsagent, an excellent bottle shop, a takeaway, as well as a great Pizza place called Lime Pizza, and an amazing Asian fusion restaurant called Gwylo which is a must do, also Bannisters Pavilion Rooftop restaurant and Rick Steins are just up the road. In Ulladulla there are also some great eateries, and all the major supermarkets are there. The weather wasn't great (one of the biggest rain events on the east coast for years!!) but the house is old and musty, and without the sun and open windows, this was hard to avoid. The beds are okay but low and need to to be replaced, and the couch is very uncomfortable, basically the owners need to update. I can see how with better weather we possibly would have had a better experience. if its a family holiday right on the beach, and your looking for that authentic beach holiday cottage, (and you can overlook the out of date amenities), the Mook is a great choice.

Thanks for the feedback Fiona, it was nice to meet you and Matt. I will stay in touch.

The Mook is all about the view and direct access to the beach.

Its fantastic sitting on the back beck for breakfast or dinner and taking in the sights and sounds of the beach. Well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Clean and tastefully appointed. Sure the cost are on the high side to stay in Moolymook but its certainly value for money for the 4 nights we stayed. Would stay again

The Mook was a lovely, relaxing place to stay

It's location so close to the beach was amazing. And we appreciated how well stocked and comfortable the house was. Loved the fire pit and the thoughtful touches such as throws, games, candles and magazines. Highly recommend staying here.
